Cambodian Muslim Intellectual Alliance ( CMIA) was founded by a group of former students who locally and oversea graduated. CMIA is an organization for neutral, non-profit,  and non-political tendency . It was officially established in 2005 through the license number 762 សជណ dated August 08,2005 from the Ministry of Interior. 

Almost 10 years in actively operating and under the leadership of H.E HOSEN MOHAMAD FARID, the Chairman, CMIA plays a vital role in contribution with government of the Kingdom of Cambodia toward the poverty alleviation and uplift the living standard of the nation particularly for the Muslim community. To conform with its status and reach its vision, CMIA has been implementing many potential programs such as the Education and Islamic promotion program, Zakat and Waqf fund, Humanitarian assistance, Qurbani Cow and Aqiqah program, construction and infrastructure Almost 10 years in actively operating, CMIA plays a vital role in contribution with government of the Kingdom of Cambodia toward the poverty alleviation and uplift the living standard of the nation particularly for the Muslim community.
