Ummu Aiman Orphan House
Under the cooperation with Global Peace Mission Malaysia (GPM) in 2011, CMIA is running Ummu Aiman Orphan House ( RUMAH ANAK YATIM UMMU AIMAN). The orphan house in the beginning have rented the building in Phnom Penh and later on have moved to the temporary CMIA-owned building to reduce cost of expense.  As December 2013, the Ummu Aiman Orphan House have registered and selected 39 orphan children from the needy families in various provinces across the country.

The orphan children of Ummu Aiman aged from 10-16 years old. With the share-contribution between the GPM and the CMIA, the orphan house provides three meal per day, free education, free accommodation, medical service, pocket allowance and other welfares to the children .


    

Ummu Aiman Orphan House aims to:
             -    Encourage orphan to kindle their potential by providing a profession talk , and mentoring program.
             -    Provide welfare services to the orphan such as lodging, boarding, and health
             -    Provide a secure place as home to orphan
             -    Provide a  basic education, and literacy to orphan
             -    Train the orphan to be a good role model in society  and can stand by their own



Yusof Samroh
Date of birth: 25 July 2004. Her father passed away when she was two months. Samroh has two elder brothers, and four elder sisters. Her two elder sisters got married and left the family, and two elder sisters are staying with her aunt. Her one of elder brother is working in Phnom Penh and other is studying at home town. They are living with her grandma because her mother gave up them and gone away for long time. Her grandma made fishery net for sale every day. The income for this family is about 8,000 Reil (about 2.00 US$) per day.Yusof Samroh has been admitted to the Ummu Aiman Orphan House on 25 August 2013.

     Chin Pich (Ilyeh )

Date of birth: 22 April 2001.His Muslim name is Salim Ilyes. Ilyes is the      eldest son in the family. He has a youngest sister. After his father passed away 3years ago, his mother went to live at her homeland at Kampong Cham Province. The sibling of this poor family live with their grandma who is supporting another seven orphan children as Ilyeh relative. Those children are studying at primary school and secondary school of public school in difference levels. The grandma is a small seller of beef in km7 market. The income is about 30,000 Reil (about7.50 US$) per day. Ilyeh has been admitted to the Ummu Aiman Orphan House on 28 March 2012. 



Ream Rofilin  Date of birth: 27 July 2005.Rofilin is Ilyes’s sister. Her father died before she was born. She lived with her mother for three years and  after  that she lives with her grandmother in Phnom Penh. Her mother went away from her. As, her brother Ilyeh, her grandma able to earn  only 7.50 US$ per day to support the fundamental need. Rofilin has been admitted to the Ummu Aiman Orphan House on 28 March 2012.



Zert Fannita

Date of birth:15 August 2000. Her father passed away in 2008. Fannita has two elder brothers, a young brother and a young sister. The eldest brother is working in Thailand and the second brother is studying Islamic Study at PrekPih. Fannita, her younger brother and her young sister are studying at CMIA International School. Her mother is working at Thailand with the first brother. Fannita and the youngest sister live with thei raunt. Her aunt sales grocery at home. The income is about 20,000 Reil (about 5.00 US$) per day.
Fannita has been admitted to the Ummu Aiman Orphan House on 27 January 2013.


Zert Roni

Date of birth: 10 January 2001. Roni is the fourth member son in the family.  He has two elder brothers, and one elder sister and a young sister. The first brother dropped school after his father died. Now he is working at Thai Land with his mother since 2011.The second brother is studying Islamic Study at Prek Pih. His sisters live with his aunt. Roni lives with his grandfather. This family has a small piece of land for rice planting. Since the  family depends on the yield of rice harvest, the income is about $500.00 per year. Roni has been admitted to the Ummu Aiman Orphan House on 27 January 2013.


Man Osman

Date of birth: 24 June 2000. Osman is the youngest son in his family. He has two sisters and four brothers. The elder sister and two brothers got married and left the family. His brother is a worker at Malaysia, his sister is a factory worker at home town and other brother is a student at Prek Pih. His father died five years ago. His mother is a Child Mental of Ummu Aiman. Osman and his mother are living in the orphan house because they do not have any shelters. Osman has been admitted to the Ummu Aiman Orphan House on 15 December 2011.




  El Noron

Date of birth: 03 January 1999. Noron is the eldest child in his family.He has three sisters and one brother. The first sister is studying and staying in orphanage center at Kampong Chhnang Province. The second sister is studying and staying in orphanage center at Phnom Penh with him, the youngest sister and youngest brother is staying with his mother. This family has a small piece of land for rice planting but the harvest doesn’t yield enough for living. Thus, the mother has to sell some cakes in the village in order to earn income. The income for this family is about 5,000 Reil (1.25 US$) per day. Noron has been admitted to the Ummu Aiman Orphan House on 15 Decenber 2011.


Ni Isa

Date of birth: 02 April 1998. Isa has four brothers and one sister. His three brothers already married, two left the family and the other one still lives in the family. The fourth brother is working as a blacksmith at Chrok Romeat Kampong Chhnanag. His father died three years ago. This family doesn’t have land to plant something. They are living in a small house, which was made by palm leaves. His mother sells remedy that find in the forest by herself. The income for this family is about 15,000 Reil (about 3.75 US$) per week. Isa has been admitted to the Ummu Aiman Orphan House on 15 December 20111.
